The sliding board is handcrafted from strips of maple, ash and oak hardwood. The strips are arranged side-by-side and grafted together. Its edge-grain construction ensures uniform thickness and an even cutting surface. Board’s edges are glued in opposite directions to balance the natural moving of the wood.
